The main window at a glance

Find the navigation rail, Cue Pads, two DJ decks, Mixer and live controls.

CueCart combines a cartwall of Cue Pads with Deck A, a dedicated Mixer and Deck B. The navigation rail controls what you see; the toolbar keeps cue transport close at hand.

Navigation rail and Settings

Use the persistent rail to open Sets or Library, show or hide the DJ workspace, and choose a 1, 2 or 4 panel cartwall layout. The File menu contains New, Open, Save, package actions and maintenance tools.

The Settings cogwheel is at the bottom of the navigation rail. It opens application Settings, initially on Audio. Navigation and layout controls have been regrouped to reduce clutter and make room for future features.

Title bar and toolbar

Drag an empty part of the title bar to move the window. It also contains the window controls, the Master output display and the Stream control. Click Stream to open your Icecast destinations.

The toolbar contains:

  • Stop — stops playing Cue Pads while both DJ decks continue.
  • Panic — stops Cue Pads and both decks immediately.
  • Now Playing — the active Cue Pad's name and elapsed, total and remaining time.
  • Cue Pad FX — trigger the selected exit effect.
  • Cue Pad volume — adjust the pad mix separately from the DJ decks.

The MASTER and PHONE level knobs now live in the Mixer.

The cartwall

Show one, two or four bank panels. Each panel's header lets you choose its bank; the coloured bank tabs let you jump between pages or add a bank.

A filled pad shows its colour, name, duration, assigned key and playback badges. Empty pads reveal + for assigning audio. Alt+click an assigned pad to open Cue Settings; right-click stops a playing pad by default.

Sets and Library

Select Sets on the rail to browse saved shows, or Library to find and import media. Drag Library tracks onto pads or into either deck's playlist. Hide the sidebar when you want more space for the cartwall.

Deck A, Mixer and Deck B

The DJ workspace contains two independent decks, playlists, and a Mixer with channel controls and an A/B crossfader. The decks keep their queues when you switch Sets. In the expanded layout, both decks and the mixer sit above the Library and playlist; the compact layout keeps the selected deck or mixer in the sidebar.

Use the workspace's presentation controls or context menu to float or split the DJ views, then rejoin them when you want the docked workspace back. You can also hide the complete workspace from the rail.

For Stems, use the installer's Download stems now option or download later from Settings → Stems. Prepare the track before using its STEMS pads. See Activate Stems.

Status bar

The bottom strip shows instance mode, latency, CPU, RAM and Disk readouts, current activity, operation progress and the version stamp.
