This Privacy Policy explains how CueCart (“we”, “us”) handles personal information in connection with the CueCart website (cuecart.app), the CueCart software, and the licensing service behind it. CueCart is a desktop audio application: your audio files and the shows you build stay on your computer — we never upload, access or store them.

1. Information we collect

Account & purchase details — the email address you use to buy or sign in, and your order history (what you bought and when).
Payment information — payments are handled by our processor, PayMongo. They receive your payment details directly; we receive only a confirmation and limited transaction metadata (such as the last few digits or a reference). We do not store your full card number.
License activation data — to activate and verify a license, the app sends us your purchase email, an anonymous device fingerprint (a hardware identifier that does not reveal who you are), and the application version. This is what binds a license to your device and lets you deactivate and move it.
Referral data — if you arrive through a referral link we store a cc_ref cookie so the referring partner is credited if you buy. See Cookies below.
Support correspondence — if you email us, we keep the message and your address so we can help and follow up.
Technical logs — like most services, our servers record limited technical data (such as IP address, timestamp and request details) for security, abuse-prevention and debugging.

2. How we use it

to process your purchase and deliver and activate your license;
to verify licenses and prevent piracy, fraud and abuse;
to provide support and send essential service emails (receipts, license and trial notices);
to credit referral partners for valid referrals;
to secure, maintain and improve the Site and software.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers we need to run CueCart, and only for that purpose:

PayMongo — to process payments;
An email-delivery provider — to send receipts and license/trial emails;
Cloud hosting providers — to host the website and the licensing backend.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety or property. We do not otherwise share your data.

4. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies, and no third-party advertising cookies. The main one is cc_ref, which records a referral code for up to 90 days so a partner who referred you is credited when you buy. We also use strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the Site working. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though some features (like staying signed in) may then not work.

5. Data retention

We keep account, order and license records for as long as your license is active and as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting purposes. Technical logs are kept for a limited period. You can ask us to delete your account data, subject to records we are required to keep.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including sealing the license token on your device so a copied settings file is useless on another machine. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep the data we hold safe.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email us at support@cuecart.app and we will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Children

CueCart is a professional tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. International users

We operate from the Philippines and our providers may process data in other countries. By using CueCart you understand your information may be processed outside your country of residence.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; when we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here.
