CueCart Licensing & activation
How the free trial, one-time Lifetime licence and device activation work.

CueCart is a one-time purchase — a Lifetime licence, no subscription. This page explains the trial, buying, and activating your licence.
The free trial
Your first run can start a 7-day free trial — no card, no password. You enter your email, CueCart emails you a 6-digit code, and once you type it back in and hit Start 7-day trial, playback unlocks. Anything you build during the trial is yours and carries straight over when you buy — no reinstall, your sets stay put.
While the trial is active, CueCart needs to reconnect to verify from time to time. As long as you go online periodically, playback keeps running.
Buying a licence
When you're ready, open Settings → License and choose Buy License. CueCart opens secure checkout in your browser. Pay there, then come back to CueCart — you don't need to copy a key or click anything to finish.
Activation happens automatically
After you pay, CueCart watches for your payment and activates itself — the status badge flips to ACTIVATED and playback unlocks in place. Leave the Settings window open for a moment after checkout; it picks up the licence on its own.
If activation doesn't land right away (payment can take a minute to confirm), use Refresh License as a fallback. It re-checks against the same email and finishes activation.
One machine at a time
A licence activates on one machine. The licence is tied to the email you used at checkout — your sets, library and settings are never affected by where the licence lives. If you need to move CueCart to a different PC, use Ask Support from the Licence screen (it opens a pre-filled support email) and we'll sort it out.
Updates
Your purchase includes a window of free updates — the License Details panel shows the date through which updates are included. Everything you've already installed keeps working forever; nothing stops when the window ends.
Offline use
CueCart runs and plays fully offline — your sets, library and audio never leave your machine. An activated licence only needs to check in occasionally: roughly once a month is plenty. (During a trial, reconnect a little more often so CueCart can confirm the trial is still running.)
